What is the refund policy?
The final day for refunds is June 30th.
Is there a dealers den?
Yes. There will be a dealers den. We are deciding on the exact location on site and the number of dealers we will have space for. There will also be a small additional cost of $10 if you wish to register as a dealer. You will be able to select this option when you register for the convention.
Are babies allowed at the con?
Babies will only be allowed on a day pass with a parent. There are also no baby change spaces on site. We would prefer that all babies and toddlers are toilet trained and out of nappies.
Is there an age restriction on the con?
Yes. Weekend passes are restricted to attendees 18 and over. Day passes will be available to all, however, there will be some restrictions:
- Those that are 16-17 will be allowed on site without a caregiver
- Those under 16 will require supervision by a legal guardian at all times.
Will criminal acts be reported to police?
Any illegal activity will be reported to police.
Do I need any forms of identification?
Yes. We do need you do present a form of photo ID if you are staying overnight. This is required by the con site for those staying overnight. You’ll need one of the below to be able to attend the event.
- Driver’s Licence
- 18+ Card/Kiwi Access Card
People attending on a day pass will not need to show ID.
Can I buy a day pass?
A two day pass costs $50 giving you access to the event on Friday and Saturday.
A single day pass is $30, giving you access to the convention on Saturday only.

Are there any restrictions on day pass holders?
Unfortunately, there are a couple of limits. Those of you attending with a day pass will not be able to join in with the camp run activities, such as archery, confidence course and air rifles, and there will also be time limits for how long you can stay at the event. (Friday 2 PM - 8 PM and Saturday 10 AM - 5PM).
Accommodation and Facilities
What are the options for accommodation?
Option one is staying in a three or six person cabin, for $190
- There are 4 six person rooms
- There are 16 three person rooms.
Can you request specific people in your room?
Yes, you will be able to, but we do not guarantee that you will get those requests.
Is bedding provided?
Bedding is not provided. We recommend bringing a sleeping bag, blanket and any other bedding you might need for the weekend.
Are gender-neutral bathrooms available?
Yes! We will be allocating one bathroom block at the site to be used specifically as a gender-neutral bathroom. This block will have showers and toilets. Anyone of any gender (or lack thereof) is also free to use any other bathroom on site, as long as there are not any complaints or concerns about behaviour.
Where is the nearest airport?
The nearest airport is Christchurch International Airport, located about 55km away from the convention site. The drive from there to the site is typically around 45-50 minutes, depending on the traffic of the day.
Is there an option for shared transportation?
Yes! Southern Paws will be operating a van service to and from the event site from Christchurch International Airport. This service will be $20 return (covers both ways).

How much is the shuttle service?
The cost is $20, both ways.
Where do shuttles leave from?
The shuttles leave from the Christchurch International Airport.
How long will the ride be?
The trip from the airport should be approximately 45-50 minutes, if everything goes according to plan.
What are the times for shuttles?
The times available for the shuttle service are listed below. The shuttles will be running approximately every two hours during the shuttle periods.

What can I do if none of these times work for me?
If your flights don’t fit into our shuttle schedule, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll see what we can do.
Are meals provided?
Yes. Meals will be provided, including all meals on Saturday as well as breakfast on Sunday. You can bring your own snacks if you’d like more, though.
Should I bring my own snacks?
Yes! The nearest full-service supermarket is Countdown Amberley, located about a ten minute drive away from the site. There will not be any snacks available for purchase on-site, so we recommend you bring some with you.
Will you be able to cater to food allergies?
We can cater to specific food allergies and dietary requirements as long as we are notified in advance. There will be a field on the order page where you can list anything we need to know.
Drugs and Alcohol
What are the alcohol restrictions?
We are allowing alcohol, however we are placing restrictions on what is allowed. These can be found listed below:
- No more than 10 standard drinks for the entire event.
- Must be in its original container.
- All alcohol above the limit will be confiscated.
- Any mild to severe intoxication will not be tolerated and if you are intoxicated you will be put in a safe place until you are sober.
What restrictions are there in regards to drugs?
We will not allow any drugs that are not prescription or over the counter. All prescription medicines must be in their original containers unless evidence is provided that it is the same as what your prescription states.
Anything else is prohibited and will be reported to police.
What Merchandise will be available?
For our first con the only merchandise available is the official con shirts. These can be purchased through the link on the home page for $35 or through the link below:
When do we need to place our orders by?
Orders need to be in by July 19th
Is there any restriction on who can buy the shirts?
At this time only those who are attending the con can buy a shirt.
Is there a limit on how many shirts can be purchased by attendees?
There is no limit on shirts.
